Q: Those who collect money for muslim schools, is it permissible to give them commission from Lillah money which they collect? Like 100 pounds out of 500 pounds? 

A: If the donors are clearly informed that the collectors and fund-raisers are being paid a commission and the percentage of this commission is mentioned to them in explicit terms, and they all consent either tacitly or expressly to this amount of commission being paid, then it will be permissible. If the donors are not informed of these matters then paying such commissions will not be permissible.
